With so many makes and models on the market, you might feel overwhelmed when searching for a car that best suits your needs. Why not consider a Honda? Over the years, this manufacturer has established itself as one of the top car manufacturers. These are four reasons why Honda is an award-winning brand and what type of awards its 2018 vehicles received.

Car and Driver 2018 Top 10 Cars

Each year, Car and Driver ranks the top 10 cars. In 2018, Honda saw its Accord and Civic make the list. In determining which cars make the list, the publication stipulates that vehicles cannot cost more than $80,000 and are returning winners, all-new, or feature significant revisions. More than a dozen vehicles arrive, and its experts drive thousands of miles and participate in thorough evaluations.

The 2018 Honda Accord made the top 10 list for the 32nd straight time thanks to its continuously variable transmission and updated infotainment system. Even its 2.0-liter manual-transmission Sport model earned America’s Best Sedan honors for its November 2018 issue. The 2018 Honda Civic made waves with its Type R trim, which the publication named as potentially the highest performing front-wheel drive vehicle on the market today. Its turbocharged 2.0-liter 306-horsepower engine blows past its all-wheel-drive competitors and is available for a fraction of the cost.
