The 2019 Honda Insight is leaving everything out on the table with its release, and reviewers are very excited about it. Everything from the exterior, to the fine cabin details and infotainment features, seem to be hitting the right notes. Here are some of the key highlights that auto-reviewers love about the 2019 Honda Insight.

Bold and Exuberant Exterior

The overall shape of the 2019 Insight is full of intrigue and class. The front grill and headlight design accentuate the exterior, and the thin LED headlights and bold, sweeping lines give the Insight a sporty and luxurious look not seen in many Hybrids today. The alloy wheels are a nice added touch to help pull the luxury feel together. The exterior shape of the 2019 Insight is highly aerodynamic, creating a smooth driving experience and added efficiency. Flat plates line the bottom of the car to help further reduce resistance.

Reviewers are also excited about the exterior accessories available on the Insight. Components such as larger wheels, a rear spoiler, bumper guards, and welcome lighting are all standout options. Others include accents on the door trim and grille.

A Feature-Rich and Roomy Cabin

The stunning appearance and luxurious feel of the exterior were expertly translated into the interior cabin. There are a few infotainment features with the base model and several more on higher trim levels. Base options include Bluetooth phone and voice controls, as well as a USB port. Once you upgrade, you gain access to a full suite of tech features such as real-time traffic and weather, Garmin navigation system, mobile Wi-Fi hot spot, Apple CarPlay connectivity, and Android Auto Connectivity.

The passenger space on the 2019 Insight is also a point of emphasis among top reviewers. The cargo area can hold six pieces of carry-on luggage or 15 with the rear seating folded down, but the Insight gains its praise from the passenger space in the cabin. The driver and front passenger areas have 39 inches of headroom and 42 inches of legroom. Back seat passengers have an impressive 37.4 inches of legroom as well.

Honda Sensing Suite of Driver Assistance Features

With many of the newer vehicles released, you get the Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance features. With this standard package, you get driver assistance tech that is usually reserved for higher trim levels on other models. The 2019 Insight with Honda Sensing has lane departure warning, lane keep assistance, forward collision warning and braking assistance, adaptive cruise control, and traffic sign recognition on all trims.

The Insight is also loaded with other safety technology and has earned a top safety pick plus from the IHHS. Front and side curtain air bags are standard in the front seats, side curtain air bags are standard for rear passengers. The rear seats have two anchors for and three tether points for car seats.

Overall the 2019 Honda Insight is generating a lot of buzz, and for good reason. The sleek and modern exterior rivals the finest looking consumer cars on the road today. A roomy cabin packed with technology is just icing on the cake.
